Where We Came From

Background

  • Aran Blackmore, the principal of Blackmore Property, has always had a love and passion for ​property which started with summer jobs working in the family property business


  • He completed a Bachelor of Property Degree at the University of Auckland


  • He then joined an experienced and successful property developer and investor in 2002, who ​he retains a consultancy role with in numerous project types along with associated joint ​ventures, in the role of property and development manager before starting Blackmore ​Property in 2022

  • Asset and Property Management – managed an extensive property portfolio and been ​responsible for sales, leasing, marketing, facilities and financial management (including setting ​budgets and reconciliation of year end wash-ups)


  • Property Development – managed and delivered (including as a shareholder) a significant ​amount of property developments (including retail, commercial and residential) from concept ​to completion


  • Business Management – managed retail, hospitality, golf course and storage businesses as ​part of property management and development


  • Body Corporates - the establishment of multiple body corporates and been on many body ​corporate committees (including as chairperson) with an extensive knowledge of the Unit ​Titles Act


  • Incorporated Societies & Associations – the establishment of incorporated societies and ​associations and maintaining day to day roles on committees (including as chairperson/​secretary/treasurer) with a strong knowledge of the Incorporated Societies Act.


  • Di​s​pute Resolution – the handling of and successful dispute resolution and litigation pro​ceedings including under the Unit Titles Act
